Carter GromatskiBoone, NCTeacher and Mentor of Writing within the Humanities, and Instructor of Guitar
I have 7 years of Guitar playing experience. In my first year, I was fortunate to have an instructor who really helped me with the basics and was there to answer my many questions about music. He taught me technique and theory, and kept me accountable in my practicing. I'm very grateful for this relationship and for the path he helped set for me, and I hope to do what he did for me for other musicians.
In all the years since, I have been learning from the best instructors on YouTube, and have become comfortable with many different playing styles: Acoustic & Electric, fingerpicking, blues, rock, Jazz and fusion. I also have experience in improvisation and song writing/producing.
I have two years of band playing experience in a competitive music scene. During these past two years, I have learned so much about playing with others and communicating with others about music. Playing in a band has given me firsthand experience in many aspects of guitar playing - stage presence and confidence , gear and tone control, and booking and networking.
In summary, my eclectic experience in playing guitar allows me to give just about any beginner or intermediate player engaging lessons in a wide variety of guitar styles.
