Abdulaziz AlqahtaniKent, OHMathematics Tutor
I was a part-time Mathematics Instructor at the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Kent State University (KSU) for 4 years. In addition, I graduated in December 2022 with a Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics from KSU.
As a computational and applied mathematician, I develop algorithms and numerical methods using techniques and tools from linear algebra theory and optimization for various areas of applied mathematics. My research is strongly focused on solving inverse problems that arise in many interesting applications including computerized tomography, remote sensing, and image restoration. I believe that my teaching and
tutoring experience as well as my coursework and research background make me an excellent Mathematics tutor.
During my graduate studies, I was fortunate enough to teach various undergraduate classes. I am passionate about teaching mathematics and helping students to understand and appreciate the beauty of mathematics. I strive to create a classroom environment that is both challenging and supportive, where students feel comfortable asking questions and taking risks. I look to bring my love of education, my well-developed knowledge in this field, and my love for teaching to your college.
Thank you!
