Throughout high school, I volunteered as a tutor for all academic subjects for a range of grades and students. I myself took advanced honors and AP courses in Algebra, Geometry, Precalculus, and Calculus. I excelled in these and received top marks, as well as scoring in the top percentile on the ACT math section. In college, this translated to using a multitude of knowledge in math and physics to calculate building loads and construction restrictions, as well as performing statistical analysis with complex models.
My job as a teaching assistant has further helped me refine my skill in helping break down lessons into more understandable pieces. My personal studies and years of experience working with different types of learners culminates to a great understanding of these subjects and how to craft a learning process that works for different students- from the elementary level to the more complex.
