I love teaching English as a Second Language so much that I got a Masters degree in TESOL. Not only that, but I have also taught ESL for two years at the college level. I've had two wonderful years of experience teaching Writing, Reading, Listening, Speaking, Conversation, Culture, and more!
I love to have fun with my students and build personal connections with them. I put my students at the forefront of their learning, and I use their interests to guide my lessons. I try out new activities often, helping my students have fun while they learn. For example, I have used TikTok and online RPG stories in lessons before, and I love to experiment with online games like Gartic Phone and Jeopardy.
Part of the reason I love teaching ESL is because it allows me to learn as much as I teach. I have taught a variety of students from different cultures, backgrounds, and religious views. Learning more about my students' expectations for me and their English learning helps me meet my students on their level, and provide them with an individualized approach for every lesson.
