I obtained my 150 hour TESOL/TEFL Certification on April 29th, 2014 with Global Leadership College (which is part of a network of teacher training and language institutes dedicated to providing high q... uality, highly practical TESOL/TEFL courses online). I have been a remote ESL Tutor since 2014 and have worked for multiple different platforms since then. I have taught thousands of students from all over the world and have over 100,000 minutes of talk time. I also currently work full-time as an English teacher at an International Baccalaureate World School in Cancun, Mexico and before that, I was an English Teacher at Lake Yojoa Bilingual School in Pena Blanca, Honduras. At these schools I taught students ranging from 3rd grade - 12th grade. I like to tailor my teaching according to the students current level of knowledge and specific needs. I like to focus on grammar, English tenses, phrasal verbs, active vs passive, conditional sentences, pronunciation, accent, reading, writing, speaking and listening. Hi my name is Seth and I am 41 years old from the United States! Besides my English Teaching career and Bible Ministry, I have had many different professions and experiences in my life. I come from a ... family of Electrician's and my family owned an Electrical Business when I was growing up. I have a CDL license and a lot of experience as a Delivery Driver. I also have experience working in the Wisconsin prison system as a Correctional Officer. I am musically inclined and artistic and have been playing guitar for 30 years! I enjoy writing my own songs, recording music, playing live, teaching guitar lessons and jamming with friends. I also like to draw and when I was in grade school I won a few different state drawing contests in Wisconsin. Likewise, I am equally athletic and won the presidential physical fitness award 5 times in grade school. In high school, I set a school record in the 2.3 mile run as a freshman running on the varsity cross country team. I also excelled at wrestling, basketball and baseball. I previously worked as a fitness trainer with a certification in personal training and weightlifting, but since then, I only practice moderate physical exercise in order to keep the body healthy and working properly. I believe that rest, faith and temperance are very important in life and I strive to practice them in all areas of my life! But with all that said, I am here to help you on your journey of learning!
