About
Hello! My name is Kashmera and I was born in New York but raised in Georgia! I'm a psychology student who's a big critical thinker and loves to learn about ideas and concepts that show a different per... spective. I enjoy reading books and writing stories, as well as making video essays and exploring philosophical topics.
I've always loved teaching since I was young and was always eager to play school with my classmates. In the third grade, I would volunteer to go to the younger grades to read them books and help them with math. By the fourth grade I, as well as my 5 siblings transferred to homeschool, where I became a learning coach for my 4 younger siblings and helped them with homework. Recently over the summer last year, I was a volunteer tutor for kids who wanted to learn coding, like Scratch Jr.
I've always been very academically capable, but what I learned, especially recently after taking psychology, is that learning, just like everything, is a skill. Getting all A's and passing tests are all things that can be learned and improved, so there's no such thing as a student being "un-teachable". All it takes is a different learning method and anyone can become an all-A's student. That's why I want to help people of all ages learn new things and improve their weak points in learning. I believe the more knowledge you have and information you learn makes you more confident in yourself and in the world around you.read more
