At a young age I became fascinated with the mythology of ancient cultures, which eventually morphed into a love of history thanks to one exceptional teacher. Ever since then, my goal has been to teach history to Middle and High Schoolers to get them to love the way that I have learned to love it.
I have a Bachelors Degree in history, and spent my last year of college focusing on the evolution of food and cooking styles in America, but what really got me interested into studying history was the evolution of arms and armor from the European Medieval period. I took classes on the general histories like US, World, and Asian history, but I also took specialized classes like Civil War History, and Witchcraft and Religion in the Middle Ages. I also have developed the research skills necessary to fill in the blanks if need be, and help any students learn to research and write academic papers.
My lessons would usually focus on building a foundation for research and essay writing. I am also happy to help with studying for quizzes and tests, writing and reviewing essays, and memorization and understanding of content depending on your needs.
