About
Born in Serrekunda, Gambia, on May 5, 1985, I embarked on an academic journey that took me from local schools in Tabokoto and Kanifing South to earning a BSc in Mathematics from the University of The ... Gambia. Overcoming health challenges and inspired to fill the mathematical expertise gap in Gambia, I expanded my studies in Mathematical Engineering and Industrial Mathematics in Italy and Poland. My research on Quantum control of qubits and qutrits led me to pursue a Ph.D. in Mathematical Statistics with a focus on Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, USA.
Here, my work intersects applied mathematics, machine learning, AI, and physics, with a special interest in neural networks and their application in image processing. Beyond academics, my passions include sharing knowledge through tutoring, where I embrace an interactive and personalized approach. My journey reflects resilience, a pursuit of knowledge, and a commitment to enhancing mathematical understanding in Gambia and beyond.read more
