Over the past eight years, I've worked with dozens of college students on their writing. As an International Studies graduate, I'm comfortable working with students on nearly any humanities class that requires essays, from required English Composition and Public Speaking courses to more specific classes like Environmental Studies, Gender & Film, or Abnormal Psychology. I've been an assistant instructor for over ten undergraduate and graduate courses in International Studies and Criminal Justice, and I've tutored in a wide variety of topics both in-person and virtually. My favorite moments are when my students sigh a breath of relief, comment "Oh wait, this isn't actually that complicated," or even pull up the Purdue OWL site of their own accord.
In addition, for the last ten years, I've helped 10+ students apply to college, scholarships, medical school, medical residency programs, and law school. I love talking through someone's life goals, favorite activities, significant memories, and proudest accomplishments, and then making that conversation a vivid, well-structured component of these applications.
