Certified SOLIDWORKS Expert (CSWE) w/ 19 yrs Experience & Industry Knowhow

I have been using SOLIDWORKS for 19 years, certified as a SOLIDWORKS Expert (CSWE), and have 13+ years of professional, hands-on design, CAD, CAM and CNC programming experience in the manufacturing industry. I have made content and presented on SOLIDWORKS & CAMWORKS previously as well as taught multiple CAD/CAM classes to other engineers while I was employed by SaaS value added resellers. After graduating Boston University with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Manufacturing and over 10 years of experience being the go-to technical subject matter expert for a handful of organizations in different sectors, I have honed the ability to communicate effectively with any level of technical end user. My experience working in-sync with purchasers, distributors, design engineers, manufacturers, quality controllers, and ultimately anyone looking for more context in a product/service has given me a wealth of insight into the individual jargon and priorities required to effectively communicate with anyone. I truly think understanding the audience’s background and what is relevant and interesting to them is key to bridging any technical gap. The foresight to plan ahead of multiple layers of questions is a necessary skill that can make any demo, support ticket, or general customer interaction that much more seamless. I know there's a wealth of product design & manufacturing experience that I can bring to the table so it would be an honor to tutor/mentor this important work.

Music Composer

I have studied Music Theory for the past twelve years. The first six years was shared between middle school and high school when I was in band. My last year of high school I took the AP Music Theory course to expand my knowledge of music even further. I have always loved music since I started in mid-2011, but when I was exposed to the theory behind music, it made me realize that this was the subject that I should pursue as a career. At the end of the school year, I got my AP score of a 5. Having chosen a career path choice, I then went on to study music at Louisiana State University. I choice to dual-major in two different music concentrations, one in composition and the other in a new field, titled Experimental Music & Digital Media. Being that I chose composition as a concentration, I have since utilized and challenged myself to use music theory techniques within my own works. Throughout my undergraduate career I have tutored other colleagues of mine who were struggling with music theory. Ever since then I have been teaching the subject to any individual who needed the guidance. I make a personable approach to the person, see what level they are at, address any discrepancies or questions they have beforehand, and tutor them on a case by case basis. Through repetition and practice, the individuals who have tutored with be in the past have walked away satisfied and confident that they know the material at hand.
