Carter GromatskiBoone, NCTeacher and Mentor of Writing within the Humanities, and Instructor of Guitar
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English with a focus on creative writing from Appalachian State University. My current profession centers around freelance content creation for various brands, but my true passion lies in crafting blogs, essays, and, most importantly, stories.
In addition to my formal qualifications as a writer, generalist, and teacher of the liberal arts, I believe my internal beliefs fulfil a certain intrinsic demand for those who seek a qualified teacher.
First - I believe that learning how to write well means learning how to think well. Thinking is required to be successful in all walks of life; thinking well allows one to make better decisions. My priority as a teacher, therefore, is to facilitate a space for one to learn how to express their thoughts in writing in a clear and sound way.
Second - I believe that by studying the great stories in literature, and their fitting in history, one achieves an integral perspective in the story of humanity, and by extension, their place within it.
