Gayle ColeGalesburg, ILHas Taught Numerous Biology Courses and Created New Ones
I hold a Ph.D. and Master's degree in Genetics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California-Berkeley.
I have taught numerous lectures and labs including courses such as Biology, Molecular Genetics lecture, Genetics Lab, Genetics and Society lecture, General Biology Lab, Cells and Heredity Lab, Investigating Nature lecture, and Human Biology lecture.
In addition, I have developed new courses like Bio Art and Bio Design for Biology majors and Biology through Art for non-majors. Students learn biology through lectures and labs that incorporate art. When I teach I focus on Biology, but I also insert an art example here and there that relates to the Biology topic for fun.
For twelve years at Loyola University Chicago, I prepared and coordinated the genetics labs and directed others to assist in the genetics labs.
