As pre medicine student I had a strong urge toward learning about Biology and Chemistry related topics, thus outside of school required curriculum I would read various science textbooks and articles to not only advance my own knowledge, but also to learn the concepts that were being taught in the University in a more efficient way. Since I did not find many of the lectures helpful thus I had developed various study methods in order to advance my knowledge to not only ace the class but for my future knowledge as well. one my favorite experiences was tutoring biology to Elementary and High school students, although each ages of groups requires various learning activities. Tutoring elementary students focuses on life and living organisms such as cells, genes, inheritance, microorganisms, plants, animals. using interactive visuals such as coloring pages, animation 3D videos, quiz games, storylines and utilizing real life examples and visuals. High school Biology is divided into various categories based on the students interest and performance, thus the same activity can't be applied on all students. One of the main concepts that high school students struggle with is protein synthesis, respiration and photosynthesis, cell division, hormone regulation, oxygen transport, nervous system, genetic manipulation. Although using visuals helps with the students comprehension, but requires extensive amount of reading to have a better a grasp of the process, and logical reasoning of the importance of the concepts. keeping a Biology journal that not only provides visuals, and definition but providing examples as to real life application can be crucial to the students learning capabilities.

Biology is the study of living organisms and their interactions with each other and the environment. It encompasses a wide range of topics, including evolution, genetics, ecology, and cell biology. One of the key concepts in biology is evolution, which is the process by which species change over time in response to selective pressures in their environment. Evolution is the driving force behind the diversity of life on Earth and is supported by a wealth of scientific evidence. Genetics is the study of heredity and the variation of inherited traits. It involves the study of DNA, the genetic material that is passed from parent to offspring, and how it influences the characteristics of an organism. Ecology is the study of how living organisms interact with each other and their environment. It examines the relationships between different species and the role they play in their ecosystem. Cell biology is the study of cells, which are the basic unit of life. Cells are the smallest structures that can perform all the functions necessary for life. Cell biology examines the structure and function of cells, as well as how they interact with each other and the environment. There are many other subfields of biology, including molecular biology, developmental biology, and physiology, to name a few. Together, these fields help us understand the complex processes that occur within living organisms and how they interact with each other and the world around them! And of course I’m happy to teach them.
