I've had a passion for literature since I learned to read. I've spent my life gu... lping down every book I can get my hands on and love nothing more than helping others find all of the secrets and epiphanies that hide between the lines. Literature is a beautiful tool of communication, one that everyone should be able to utilize. I am currently studying literature and education at Bennington College. I'm an alum of Interlochen Arts Academy where I majored in creative writing, and received a life-changing education in literature. I took extensive advanced english classes throughout high school such as elements classes in both fiction and poetry, Stories in Verse, Writing the Novel, Shakespeare, both fiction and non-fiction writing workshops, and several more. I earned high A's in every class and scored a 5 on the Advanced Placement Literature and Composition exam. I also have experience working on the editorial team of the Interlochen Review, a literary magazine. I was in a position which required in depth analysis, evaluation, and editing of writing submitted by students internationally. I interned at North Adams Community Schools as a library assistant and gained experience–and love for–working with literature in an educational environment. read more
