I have tutored children from all grade levels, my youngest being in 6th grade and my oldest was in the high school level. All tutoring sessions are done with a thorough and engaging PowerPoint made to encourage engagement and understanding by the student. All of my previous students have recorded amazing tutoring sessions and a more complex understanding of the topic at hand. Students are also encouraged to try out problems on their own in tutoring sessions and with homework assigned to them after each session. I find myself to be a very organized and responsible person. I check my emails very frequently, and whenever an important one I am looking forward to finally comes, I answer it as soon as possible. I find this skill especially useful in my current role as a private tutor, where I bear the responsibility of promptly responding to emails sent to me by both the student and the student’s parents. During my free time, I find it entertaining and enjoyable to volunteer and benefit someone’s life. I find myself offering my tutoring skills to volunteer organizations more times than not, and I find this beneficial to both me and whoever I am tutoring.
