My name is Ingrid.

0:01

I'm currently a student here at Cornell University and I also tutor at Lassen

0:05

Paul. I've been tutoring a variety of subjects for two years,

0:08

mainly through online mechanisms.

0:11

I've also tutored mainly through volunteer organizations.

0:14

I started tutoring in 2019, so a year before Covid started.

0:18

And then during the covid year, I tutored mainly online. Currently when I tutor,

0:23

I did not have an age preference, unlike some other tutors do.

0:27

And like I said previously, I've also tutored a variety of subjects.

0:31

My favorite subject to tutor currently would be math because that is my favorite

0:35

subject to tutor and it's also the subject I have the most tutoring

0:40

experience. However, I also tutor chemistry. I tutor,

0:44

I tutor algebra one as well. I tutor geometry.

0:47

I tutor language arts at all grade levels, like I said.

0:50

And currently when I'm tutoring, like I said, I, I only tutor online.

0:55

When I tutor. I use a PowerPoint,

0:57

an interactive PowerPoint that engages both the tutor and the student into the

1:02

lesson. And each PowerPoint is,

1:05

has some activities and the PowerPoint has some exercises that the student can

1:10

practice and all exercises are cumul

1:15

cumulative. So for example,

1:18

if the student is on content number two that we covered in the

1:23

lesson, that exercise will be consistent of,

1:27

will be related to what was covered in content number two.

1:32

And content number one, that the student keeps practicing their abilities.

1:35

Students are also greeted with homework after every session

1:40

and they're also given the slides that we just covered so that they could

1:45

the,

1:46

they're given the slides after each lesson so that they can go over during their

1:51

homework assignments or with their parent or with their friend any way they

1:55

want,

1:56

just in case the lesson wasn't enough for them to really go over the topic.

2:00

And I currently give my first lesson for free.

2:04

That is a option I have for parents that are just really looking for a

2:09

tryout. And yeah,

2:11

I hope you enjoy me as your tutor. Thank you. Bye.
