Hi! I’m Susan. I am from Brooklyn, New York and I attend St. John’s University with a pre-law track. Writing is definitely a huge part of my life and always has been. I can’t recall a time when I am n... ot writing. I enjoy it because when there is only a paper and pen in front of you, you have no limits. I can write about anything and it can be as long as it needs to be. I remember being in middle school and got in trouble once for putting “too many details” in my narrative essay. I fought for that essay because the essay was about me and I chose how many details to incorporate. Writing for me is a safe zone. I would love to use my skills in English and Writing to help students understand it and love it as much as I do. I tutored in the past, before the pandemic, and I genuinely feel like I’ve made a huge impact on students lives. My overall goal for students is to show them that writing can be there safe zone as well. Writing boosts confidence and will help students achieve their goals.read more
