I'm a current junior at Stanford University studying English with a track in Creative Writing. Most of my classes at Stanford have been English classes and I've earned all As in my college English cla... sses. I earned 5s on both AP Lang and AP Lit, despite having never taking the AP Lit course at my school. I also scored a 35 for the English section for the ACT on the first try. Throughout high school, I was a writing tutor who helped edit students' essays for various subjects, but mostly English and History. Hi! I'm Emma :) I'm grew up in Xi'an, China, but I came to the States around seven years ago. Now, I'm located at Stanford University, most of the time in my dorm trying to finish my readings for clas... s. I currently offer college essay/admissions and English tutoring. I've always been passionate about reading, writing, and languages, and I've never once doubted that I wanted to do something else (though countless Stanford students have told me to take CS106A). I've been tutoring for years now: the first time was when my dad asked me to teach the child of a family friend English. Barely out of middle school myself, I found the challenge deeply daunting but nevertheless went into it with an open mind, and came out of the experience loving it.
