I have aspired to be an author since I was an eight year old. I have always enjoyed telling stories and finding new ways to relay information. Through my love of writing, I have learned how write in many different genres and styles. Fictional stories are what I first started out writing. In college, I took five semesters of classes of creative writing and learned many styles including speculative fiction, flash fiction, and lyrical fiction. I have successfully written five pitches ranging from 90-second elevator pitches to 10 minute speeches on a range of topics from extinction to a new club for my college. I took a semester of grantwriting, during which my small group and I were able to write an entire grant proposal for an actual non-profit in Cleveland to use. I worked for half a semester as a curriculum writer for another non-profit in Akron creating curriculum about entrepreneurial concepts for students aged 8 to 14. Part of the curriculum included a section about how to get published.
