Lisa LeikerWeir, KSLicensed ELA Teacher
I have taught many areas of English Language Arts for the past 26 years, grades 6-12. These areas include library science, drama, speech, debate, forensics, literature, composition, and AP English. While I have enjoyed teaching each ELA area, composition writing is by far my favorite, and it's a subject with which I excel.
I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Kansas with Bachelor's degrees in both English and Architectural Studies, followed by my English teaching licensure at Pittsburg State University, where I also tutored at the campus writing center. I then went on to complete my Master's in Library Science at Emporia State University.
