Writing essays is something we all must do at one point or another. Whether it is for English Composition or for writing a research article, proper formatting and grammar is necessary. It is important to note that learning how to read/interpret a work to obtain the information pertinent to what one's instructor wants is paramount. While I am not pursuing an English degree or work myself, this is something I had to learn the hard way. Let me help you not do it the hard way. Over the past two years I have written essays in several formats, research articles, copy, and editorials for publications. In this time I have tutored college students for two semesters as a Peer Mentor which saw me assisting with everything from Composition to Sociology to Environmental Science to African American Literature. One semester was also spent tutoring K-5 on the fundamentals of English and its structure. I graduated recently as summa cum laude and continue to write both for fun and for work. My approach will be somewhat different to others as I did not enjoy reading or writing as a child, and instead had to learn to love the language. I am assuming that if you are asking for help that you will come from a similar background.
