Ameisha KhanClermont, FLExperienced Tutor, Pre-Med Undergraduate Student at the University of Central Florida
I possess a strong background in helping learners develop essential literacy skills and a genuine passion for fostering a love of reading. With over four years of tutoring experience, including working at Huntington Learning Center, I have supported students of all ages in improving their reading comprehension, fluency, and critical thinking.
I earned my Associate of Arts (AA) degree while in high school and am now a pre-med student at the University of Central Florida, majoring in Health Sciences. My academic journey has instilled in me a deep appreciation for the importance of reading as a foundation for success in any field.
I also volunteered as a reading mentor through the Barbara Bush Foundation's ReadSquad, where I worked one-on-one with students to strengthen their literacy skills. I adapt my teaching methods to each student's learning style, ensuring lessons are engaging, effective, and confidence-building. Whether your goal is to enhance comprehension, expand vocabulary, or simply enjoy reading more, I’m here to help you succeed.
