Ever since I was a kid, I have been interested in Geography. I loved to challenge myself in memorizing where states and countries are and to learn about the hundreds of landforms across the United States. In particular, I loved to learn about weather patterns and human movement. Now, I have taken nearly two years of classes on the subject in college. I have received A's in all of my geography classes, including nearly all disciplines. This means that I am experienced in human geography (culture, economics, etc), physical geography (land forms and geophysical properties of the Earth), and spatial geography (the making and reading maps). In the past, I have worked at several camps and organizations that required me to work with people who weren't knowledgeable about a certain subject and help them to understand. Although many people find geography to be confusing or useless, I firmly believe that a newfound interest--and a good teacher--can be instrumental in truly understanding a subject.
