Hunter HerrlingerAkron, OHCertified Music Producer and Guitar Expert
Throughout most of my life, music has played a major role, and it has made an impact on shaping who I am as a person. When I was 8 years old, I started to take an interest in learning to play the guitar, and I got my first guitar on my 10th birthday. Soon after that, I joined the band class at the Elementary school I attended to learn about music more generally.
My knowledge and passion continued to grow over the years, and in my sophomore year of high school, I began writing my own music, and that same year I started arranging pieces of music that I and the rest of my high school Marching/Concert Band would perform. At the end of sophomore year, I was appointed as the President of the Bands for my Junior year and would serve in that position for both my Junior and Senior years.
After high school, I began to focus deeply on producing music, for both my own music and for the music that others had written. I started working with various Digital Audio Workstations, or "DAWs", and would work on music for my personal recording projects, learning quite a bit on how to manipulate audio in various ways to create music that is ready for commercial release.
I then had the opportunity to attend a Certificate Program for Music Production, and I took that opportunity to further solidify my knowledge in a field I am passionate about. Today, I now have an Audio Arts Certificate for Music Production from Full Sail University, a nationally accredited private university of entertainment media located in Florida, USA, and I have experience in several popular "DAW" software like Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, and REAPER.
