Rohan VinilBellevue, WAComputer Science/Applied Math Student at the University of Washington, Seattle
I am currently a first year student at the University of Washington, Seattle, studying computer science and applied/computational mathematics. I have had a passion for mathematics all my life, especially its applications in the real world, which is why I am double majoring in applied mathematics as well. I have worked as the Lead Instructor at my local Mathnasium branch as well for just under a year before I graduated high school. I taught all levels of math, ranging from basic arithmetic, up to Calculus 2, to students aged 5-18. I have experience teaching in online and in person settings, in both private and group lessons.
Earned all A's in my high school math classes and I am highly comfortable teaching any level of math up till Calculus 2. Also competed in numerous Math Competitions such as the AMC and AIME during high school, which has allowed me to gain experience with not only solving your run of the mill Calculus problem, but also with problems that require out of the box thinking and problem solving.
I have a lot of experience working with students, not only as a math tutor but also as a tennis coach, where I taught students aged 5-13 in both group and private lessons.
