Having more than ten years of teaching experience at various levels and being major in English subject, I have gained substantial understanding of English Literature and Linguistics. I could provide to my students a deep comprehension of classical and contemporary literature, including various genres, literary movements, and critical theories. In Linguistics, my expertise covers the intricacies of language structure, phonetics, syntax, and semantics. I can teach students to grasp concepts such as phonology, morphology, and syntax, which are crucial for understanding language at a deeper level.
I am also well-versed in the art of essay writing, covering aspects like thesis development, organization, coherence, and persuasive argumentation. I can guide students through the writing process, from brainstorming to editing, helping them develop their unique writing style. These are all I have learned by teaching at university level.
Besides from English subjects, I am also major in Philosophy and enables the students to delve into abstract and complex concepts with students, making them accessible and engaging. I can teach Intro to Philosophy, history of philosophical thought and process of constructing well-reasoned arguments through logic.
As stated earlier, I have spent more time in teaching at school level which furnished my strong foundation in math. It is due to the fact that I had studied math and science up to college level. Therefore, I could provide useful assistance in the fundamentals of mathematical concepts and general science that covers biology, chemistry, physics, and earth sciences.
In short, my expertise in English, philosophy, math, and science makes me a well-rounded and effective tutor, capable of guiding students to academic success and a deeper understanding of these subjects.
