English grammar is a subject that I have an inexplicable love for. It's something ingrained into my everyday life. As a native, fluent English speaker, the language comes naturally to me. While I'm not the most keen on writing essays, one thing that's guaranteed is my spotless grammar. Throughout my primary and secondary education at private institutions (for over a decade), English teachers have raved about my sentence fluency and knack for complex grammar concepts. Additionally, for as long as I can remember, friends, family, and peers of all ages have come to me for help with their grammar. This can range from simple subject-verb agreements to the complex placement of semi-colons and independent/dependent variables. To me, grammar is more than just the proper way of placing words in a sentence; rather, it's a way of making your story come to life. Whether that story is a simple sentence, a memoir, or a traditional essay, having the correct grammar will ensure that your writing is understood in the way you intended it to be. I know what it's like to not understand how certain English concepts work as I used to struggle in elementary school. However, with the right tools and proper practice, I believe that anyone's English/grammar skills can be strengthened.
