Taylor GillisClovis, CABiology and Ecology Tutor
I have always had a passion for biology, and I have experience in both the classroom and in undergraduate field work. I have taken courses at San Francisco State University where I studied Marine Biology and Limnology, with the courses being Biology of Fishes and Biology of Algae. In reference to my field work, I have experience working in a wet lab in the San Francisco Bay Area, where I learned and practiced the skills needed in a research setting. In the field, I got first-hand experience in research techniques used in monitoring species of sea stars and tunicates.
I am currently in my final year at Arizona State University, where I will be earning my Bachelors of Science in Conservation Biology and Ecology. Courses I have taken include Conservation of Biodiversity, General Biology I and II, and Genetics, and I have received a grade of A in each course.
Alongside my studies, I am also passionate about tutoring and supporting students in their learning through individualized approaches that suit each student's unique learning style.
