Adam WenocurPhiladelphia, PAAdjunct professor, Bioinformatician with experience in clinical research, veteran software engineer
I studied biology throughout high school, college, and grad school. As a career bioinformatician, I keep up-to-date on literature, and continually read scholarly articles. Working in the medical field required understanding the biological basis of how our bodies work, and how model systems can be representative of how we function. Outside of work, I have an interest in gardening and ecology. When volunteering at parks, I use my skills to identify plants, and help determine what is necessary to keep them healthy. I have specific interests in developmental biology, phylogeny, zoology, botany, biochemistry, and precision medicine.
