Hi, I’m Sharon! I am here to spark intellectual curiosity, build confidence, and unlock the doors of opportunity that come with learning English. I’m a girl from the Midwest with a passion for foreig... n languages, culture, travel, and community. I have many varied interests, and in my spare time I read, write, design festival clothing, go hiking, sew, catch bugs, and chat with my pen pals. My geography studies have given me a very deep interest in Eastern Europe and I collect old Soviet books, militaria, and clocks. I’ve been volunteering online with the ENGin Program since August 2022, helping Ukrainian students learn English. This experience changed my life and set my course on the pathway of teaching English as a foreign language. I love the spark that learners get in their eye when they make connections and feel true understanding.
