About
Hello! My name is Sara Shaver. I am a College & Career counselor for a public high school. I love helping students find their post-secondary path, regardless of what it might be. The college process c... an be VERY confusing. I am here to help, whether you are looking to go to a trade school, a two year school, a four year school, or wanting to go directly into the workforce or military.
I used to work at two different colleges in Financial Aid before I started at the high school level. I have a vast understanding of how to fill out the FAFSA, apply for scholarships, and what you could qualify for in federal and state aid. The process is always changing, and I can help!
I have an 11-year-old son and almost a one-year-old black, goldendoodle. I love to read, exercise, do anything that has to do with water (such as going to a beach, pool, canoeing, etc.) I also love
live music! I enjoy my time with friends and family. And to make things easier on you, I would love to help you out with any questions you may have.read more
