I am a Masters level Opera student at San Francisco Conservatory of Music with a bachelors in Music and Psychology at Drake University. I have been around music my entire life with a proficiency in in... struments such as piano, guitar, saxophone, cello, and a specialty is Voice/Opera. Hello! My name is Jordan McCready. I am a Mezzo Soprano originally for Anchorage, Alaska but currently in San Francisco completing my Masters degree in Opera. I received my Bachelors in Music/Voice an... d Psychology at Drake University and have been studying voice for almost 12 years. Outside of singing I also enjoy playing piano, guitar, and cello on the side. While my main passion is classical singing I also love singing musical theatre, jazz and indie/folk and would encourage my students to as well as I think it is vital to be able to healthily perform and appreciate many genres. Outside of music I am also an avid skier of all kind (back country, downhill, Nordic), mountain biking, rock climbing, ultra running, and all the mountain sports. What I enjoy about tutoring is getting the chance to learn for others in exchange for sharing the things that I am passionate about, this is why most of the jobs I have held in the past 8 years have involved teaching to some capacity.
