receiving my master's in opera performance

at the conservatory here.

Um, but I also teach some voice

and lessons, um, in city, in person,

and I've been doing that for a couple months now.

Um, as far as accreditation goes, I got my, uh,

bachelor's in psychology

with a special interest in child development, um, as well

as a double major in voice and opera at Drake University.

And I graduated last year.

Um, so I'm still pretty young,

but I have a really long, um, history with teaching,

um, in and out of music.

Um, I worked as a ski instructor for ages three

to to 50, so a wide range, uh, age range there.

Um, I've also been a climbing instructor for nine years now,

so I work at kids programs at the local rock gym as well

as the Alaska Rock Gym where I grew up.

And I've been working that since I was in high school.

So I've been working with kids for a really long time, um,

in a even more professional setting.

I also, um, am a registered behavioral technician

and worked with kids with autism for a couple summers there.

Um, implementing more like behavioral correctional, um,

strategies, working under a board certified, um,

behavioral analysis.

Um, so a really live, a really long history of working

with people and the part of the reason

that I wanna keep doing it's

'cause I find it really rewarding.

Um, I like, I like sharing the things that I'm interested in

and obviously I'm very interested in music,

Um, I've got a really long background in music.

Um, not just voice and opera,

but I mean, I've also done years

and years, countless years of choral experience.

I played, uh, alto saxophone for seven years,

cello for four years.

I dabble in guitar just to have something kind of,

it's a de-stressing sort of less stressful outlet
