Hi! I'm Ashley and I grew up in the small town of Bourbon. I have two cats and have always had a passion for helping others. I love watching movies (especially superhero movies) and working out. I firmly believe that there isn't a single thing that a child cannot learn as long as they have the right teacher or tutor and that they are willing to put the effort in. I started my teaching career at a preschool and worked my way through the grades until I started teaching kindergarten and first grade. I ended up moving to a different school, this one a special education school, where I taught second grade classes. On top of this I taught a girl at her home because she was unable to attend a "traditional school. These experiences have helped me teach a wide variety of students with a variety of needs, as well as meant that I had to not only teach the curriculum but develop it as well.read more
