About
Hi! I'm Dylan, a student at UChicago who loves volleyball, anime, and video games. I'm currently taking a gap year in Japan, where I'm teaching English in Shizuoka. I intend to play volleyball in the ... 2028 Olympics for the US.
Growing up in a title 1 high school, many of my friends weren't able to go to college because of their low ACT scores. I eventually decided to take it into my own hands, and began to teach my friends how to score high on the ACT so they would be able to go to college with a scholarship. This lead to me becoming a formal ACT tutor. My number 1 priority in teaching is effectiveness. Everything in my lesson plan centers around improving your score, it's not just a standard lesson plan used on every student. I love tutoring because it's a direct way to improve the lives of my students. Increasing one's ACT score leads to better colleges and scholarships, which leads to a higher quality of life in the future.
