I have been known from a young age to be someone who likes to guide, teach, lead, help, manage and delegate to others. These are characteristics and skills that my older siblings did not really encour... age. I have a doctorate in Leadership and Management. This is in the field of Education but can also apply to other fields of profession. I live on the West Coast, of Cape Town in South Africa. I am currently a self-published author. I have been a teacher and a lecturer in many fields, specialising in Early Childhood Development and Lea... dership and Management. I enjoy helping others, it gives me real joy. Apart from that I enjoy painting, gardening, cooking, spending time with my Maker in nature. I love doing research on just about anything. I love cats and have seven rescue cats that I take care of. I believe that all students are special and unique, and they should be given an equal and fair opportunity to learn and grow at their own developmental pace within a stimulating, well structured environment. Learning and teaching should focus on a holistic approach, that is the spiritual, physical, intellectual and emotional/social well-being of the student. Students should be encouraged to be creative and innovative in their thinking skills and in areas of problem solving.
