I was born and raised in the Netherlands. I qualified as a teacher (English) in Amsterdam, and spent quite a few years teaching in secondary schools. Apart from that, I helped foreigners learn Dutch o... n a freelance basis to help them integrate in Dutch society. I also recently taught Dutch to foreign students at Berlitz (online lessons). I am passionate about teaching languages - whether it is my native tongue Dutch or my ´second´ native tongue English. Nothing is more satisfying than a student telling his or her teacher "I get it" and to be able to have conversations about a variety of subjects. Hi! My name is Victorine. I am a Dutch resident and love teaching. I went to Teacher´s College in Amsterdam, and worked in secondary schools for a few years before starting my travels across Hawaii, N... ew Zealand and Australia. I teach both Dutch and English to students of all ages. I love an individual approach where we focus on topics you are interested in. In my lessons I make use of podcasts, short films and interesting texts with the aim to get you actually use the language. Grammar and new vocabulary will not be forgotten of course, as they are integrated within the lessons. Apart from teaching languages, I also teach piano and a wonderful type of equine bodywork.
