Hello, my name is Umar Siddiqui. I am a Riverside, CA native looking to not only help shape minds but to expand horizons. I really want to aid student in "seeing" the course materials with more clarit... y and confidence. I am educated to a Master's level, so I know how daunting college can be. I want to change the way students look at learning and make it an enjoyable and intuitive experience! My general background is in journalism and communications, where I received my bachelor's degree from UC Riverside in Media and Cultural Studies and my master's degree in Mass Communications from Cal State Northridge! I spend time giving back to the community through my religious communities' clothing and food drives and take part in disaster relief. I volunteer as an ambassador at Fashion Revolution USA, and I was a peer mentor for transfer students during my time as a transfer student at University of CA, Riverside, or UC Riverside.
