Hey! I'm Destanee, a psychology major and sociology minor at Augusta University (AU) in Augusta, Georgia! I've lived in Augusta most of my life and it's where all of my roots are. On weekends I like t... o go downtown and try out new restaurants and listen to the jazz musicians play. On weekdays, I go to class and tutor at AUs nonprofit, the Literacy Center. I tutor students in grades K-12 in reading and language arts. I thoroughly enjoy tutoring and have been tutoring for 3 years now. Prior to tutoring I was a mentor to special needs students which is where I picked up my love for both mentoring/tutoring and psychology.
