To teach others your passion is the greatest joy in life! I earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Marine Science from Florida Gulf Coast University. During my time there I had various internships at The ... Florida Aquarium and studied abroad at James Cook University in Australia! After college I continued teaching marine science through many wonderful summer camp programs. I earned my Divemaster certification through PADI which allowed me to inspire a love for the ocean in a whole new group of people. I have developed a marine science camp program, participated in numerous educational outreach and volunteer opportunities, and have inspired many people to pursue degrees in Marine Science. That is my hope for this opportunity! We need more eco warriors to protect this changing ecosystem from our impacts on it! If you love learning about the crazy critters that live in... our ocean or want to learn more about how to protect it, i’m your gal! Learning is meant to be fun and we will make sure to do just that! I remember in my Introduction to Biology class how discouraged everyone felt by the course material and they inevitably decided that science was not for them. BUT science is for everyone!!
