About
I've always loved school, and as a child the day didn’t just end for me when I left school, it continued when I got home. I remember always “playing school” with my imaginary friends; I had a whole cl... assroom set up just the way I always imagined it would be. I was constantly learning or teaching myself something new and my interest in reading and my love for books continued to grow as I got older. I graduated with an associate degree in general studies from Naugatuck Valley Community College. I transferred to a university and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Western Connecticut State University. I decided to go back to school and in 2019, I graduated with a certificate in paralegal studies from Cerritos College. I worked as a litigation paralegal for two years before deciding to go back to school, yet again. In 2021, I applied to graduate school at Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology, and I just recently graduated. For the past few months I was a behavior therapist and I worked with children on the spectrum. I feel as though subject matter can be learned all alone, but it is the relationships that we share with others that are most vital; that is where real learning takes place.read more
