The hardest thing about stepping away from a traditio... nal school setting is that I won't be making the same impact as I have on young people's lives and futures. Having a good understanding of science helps to build better critical thinking skills and drive innovation and development in society. I want to continue to help foster this and help people to understand that science is not some complex thing that is far removed from their day to day lives. I am skilled at explaining complex concepts in a variety of ways and relating to people wherever they are coming from. I have worked in contexts ranging from inner-city public schools to elite, selective private schools in a wide range of countries.
