I lived and taught in S. Korea for 6 years. I taught at different private academies and in that time, I taught various ages and levels. I had many opportunities to assess my students and get to know h... ow to best teach them. I also lived and taught in Taiwan for 2 years. I taught at an elementary school and at a middle school. Once again, I had ample opportunities to understand my students and the abilities with the English language. As a teacher, I believe that is my responsibility and duty to know my student and what level they may be at. From there, I teach accordingly to what I discern they will understand. It give me great honor as well. I believe all of those areas help me to be the best teacher for my students AND to develop that rapport that is so very important. Hello! My name is Ms. Jane and I'm from the great Midwest (Iowa). I have different passions however people are my passion. I've worked in Human Services for 20 ish years. I've also lived and taught ES... L abroad in Asia for a total of 8 years. So, being able to teach people ESL is a great passion of mine! I love to assist people in succeeding and learning.
