Hey, I'm Reed! I'm from a small town in New Hampshire but am now living in St. Paul, MN and pursuing my Physics undergrad at Macalester College. Growing up, I've always had lots of interests. I pla... yed flute for 8 years and have always been involved in theater. I've been drawing and painting my whole life and when I have free time, you can still find me with paper and pencils sketching away. I write sketch comedy for my college sketch comedy club and love to make people laugh! Through school, I never called myself a "math kid". It definitely didn't come second-nature to me like it seemed to for other kids. Despite that, I loved my science classes and stuck with them. The further I went, the more I wanted to know, and I found myself eventually taking math classes I never thought I'd get too. Young-me would definitely call today-me a "math kid". I myself have been tutored and re-tutored, so I know what it's like to work hard with seemingly no end in sight. I know the frustrations that can come with learning math, but I also know the rewards can be great.
