I graduated Cum Laude from Mary Baldwin University with a B.S. in Biology. I was on the Dean's List with a cumulative GPA of 3.7. During my sophomore and junior years, I worked as a teaching assistant... for the Biology Department. Each semester, I hosted weekly review sessions and additional study groups before each exam. During my senior year, I worked as a biology tutor. This involved maintaining weekly study hall hours in which I guided students through homework, exam preparation, and lecture reviews. Additionally, I performed my own research. Almost all of my STEM courses required a laboratory portion. During the summer, I worked as a research assistant under one of my professors to study pollination patterns and unique phenotypic traits across native flower species.
