Hi! My name is Daria, I am 24 years old and I am from Long Island, New York. I have always had a passion in teaching. It all started when I always used to help my younger sister who struggled with he... r school work due to her Dyslexia and ADHD. When I was in high school, I used to babysit/tutor as young as 16 years old, it was clear from a young age what I would want to do for the rest of my life! I graduated from High School with my Advanced Regents Diploma and continued my education at the State University of Oswego. My master was Childhood Education with a concentration in Social Studies and a Minor in Communication and Social Interaction. I graduated Oswego on the Deans list in May of 2020. From here I went right into teaching. I got my General Education certification in Grades 1-6. I taught second grade for a year and now I have been substituting and working as a teaching assistant while I get my Masters degree. I started my masters last year at St. John's University. I am in a dual certification program for Special Education and TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages). I am set to graduate in December 2023. I have gained so much experience in teaching/tutoring over the years, and I will happily accommodate to your family/children's needs so they can get the most out of this experience!
