About
Hi! I'm Makenna. I was born and raised in Santa Monica, California and am now attending the University of California, Santa Barbara to pursue my Bachelor in Communication and Professional Writing. I l... ove writing, reading, knitting, and soaking up some Isla Vista rays whenever I get the chance :)
As Editor-in-Chief of a collegiate magazine publication, I have spent the past two years helping blossoming writers find their voice, execute diverse writing styles with confidence, and push out stories to publication. Nurturing a growth climate for newbies and experts alike is especially important to me. Writing is a raw, messy, beautiful process--- and making mistakes & asking questions is what fuels authentic success.
I am confident that I have the expertise, patience, and flexibility to help students write at a professional level. Feel free to reach out with any additional questions, and I look forward to working with you!read more
