About
My name is Leo; I recently completed my master's degree in English Literature at the University of Oxford and now am living in Brooklyn, New York. At Oxford, I wrote a 11,000 word dissertation on Wagn... erian aesthetics in the works of George Eliot and Oscar Wilde, as well as papers on Leo Tolstoy's reception in Britain, the compositional manuscripts of Samuel Beckett's Molloy, and the prosody of T.S. Eliot's The Waste Land. I also graduated summa cum laude from NYU, where I won multiple research grants, as well as two graduation awards. Through these experiences, I learned invaluable lessons on structuring essays, writing efficiently, properly articulating my ideas, and more.
I am also an award-winning saxophonist and composer, and have performed my original music performed on three different continents, notably in New York, London, Paris, and São Paulo. In New York I am in demand, playing with a number of groups and artists in venues across Brooklyn and Manhattan.
I have tutored individuals of varying ages, mostly in music, but am qualified and eager to teach writing for college applications. It would be an honor for me to help you or your child excel in any of the subjects I teach; please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions.read more
