English has always been my favorite even at a young age. during my elementary and high school days, I was always the first one to answer comprehension questions, master and apply the rules on subject-... verb agreement, and read literary pieces and essays as required by my teacher. Hence, knowing my enthusiasm and passion for this subject, I pursued my bachelor's degree taking up English as my specialization. It is through this that many opportunities have come. I joined in debate tilts, extemporaneous speech contests, and journalism tilts. I have also become our school publication's editor-in-chief, expanding my writing and copyediting craft. However, these things did not come without much of a struggle. thus, I can emphasize with students who struggle to learn the language. as I am teaching English among Grade-8 students at a public high school for six years now, I come to know how deeply they are struggling to grasp grammar concepts and I see this as a stepping stone to uplift them through engaging grammar lessons through technology and games. With all these experiences, I know that I can extend this understanding to various students and to extend the help that they need until such time that they'll be able to navigate the rich spectrum of the English language among themselves.read more
