Good Day! My name is Joy. I've had a passion for words, language and expression for as long as I can remember. I have published writing in various prose styles: narrative, descriptive, persuasive, inf... ormational, process-analysis and cause-effect to name a few. I have even dipped my pen in the waters of poetry. I greatly enjoy both forms of writing (poetry and prose). I began freelance editing for clients in 2015 and I love it! I have helped job-seekers, college applicants, college students, high school students, self-published authors and others to enhance their writing in various forms such as resumes, essays and book drafts. Proofreading is one of my favorite aspects of the writing process. I enjoy searching text for ways to improve its message! My credentials include a Master's degree in English and a Bachelor's degree in English both from Rutgers University.
